David Byrd helps put the right talent in the right

Mr. Byrd ended his federal service in Jan. 2021
as the 18th National Director of the Minority
Business Development Agency (MBDA) located
within the U.S. Dept. of Commerce. Before that,
he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office
of Policy Development and Research, U.S.
Dept. of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD).
Mr. Byrd has had an exemplary career as a
public servant. He has been a three-time
presidential appointee, a three-time
gubernatorial appointee, and a two-time county
government appointee. He has served as an
executive on transition teams at the federal,
state, and county levels.
Earlier in his career, he worked at: the U.S. Dept. of Education, advising the assistant secretary on postsecondary education issues; the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, implementing policy on children and family issues; and the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress, as a researcher.
Throughout his career, Mr. Byrd has received numerous designations, awards, and accolades. In August 2021, he was named a Man of Power and Influence in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region by the Global Conscious Initiative.
Mr. Byrd completed his BA in English at Ohio Wesleyan University and his MA in Corporate Public Relations at Rowan University.
He is a former member of Toastmasters International and the Public Relations Society of America.

Olumide IDOWU is a Nigerian climate change champion. He advocates for environmental consciousness and champions a balanced approach to development and environmental conservation. He is equally passionate about development as he is about climate change and environmental conservation efforts. His conservation work spans across various platforms. He has been actively involved in climate change advocacy for the last 12 years and is strategically positioned to engage younger and older generations through his articles, active participation in climate change groups and the use of social media where he is popularly known as ‘Mr Climate’

Through the years, he has worked with corporates, the media and managed culturally and nationally diverse teams. He has volunteered in social change initiatives, mentored and worked as a strategist for various private and public institutions.

Olumide IDOWU is the co-founder of the International Climate Change Development Initiative, a non-governmental institution that seeks to grow climate-smart generations across Africa while addressing gaps in development. He is also the Youth Focal Point in Nigeria for UNDP Small Grant Program, Youth Lead Author Global Environmental Outlook (GEO6) & Communication Director for African Youth Initiative on Climate Change. He is an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP) to the United State of America and the Atlas Corps Fellow.

Zack manages a group of activities including ERP/CRM solutions, alternative energy solutions, CSR training and competency development for sustainable human resources. His passion for developing sustainable human resources helped launch a robotic program designed for children of special needs for Dubai Municipality Children City.

Zack is the Managing Director at Provectus Middle East/Provectus Enterprising Inc. and an active advocate in Green Solutions. He is currently promoting the municipal waste collection process and recycling municipal waste from food waste streams A & B to aerosol cans recycling, and used cooking oil to reuse as biodiesel, thus curbing GHG impacts and creating a circular economy while helping reduce landfill stress. He is an advisor for Community Social Innovation, Toronto chapter and a regular speaker for the Nationalization Program (Indigenous Communities – workforce human development). Zack is also the recipient of the Books for Peace 2021 International Award in favor of social integration and the environment.  TAP Alumni as awarded by Toronto Region Board of Trade and World Trade Centre Toronto.

Steering community member of Halifax Youth Project and founding chairman for CSR for Dubai Quality Group.  And an active member of Canadian Business Council in Dubai.
